Marlborough Downs
A varied and demanding tour of the Marlborough Downs with some steep climbs and exhilarating descents. The western edge of this route follows the Ridgeway to complete the loop.
Mostly using green (easy) and blue (moderate) graded trails, one red (difficult) trail, and some short on-road sections.
A 22 mile (35km) circular route.
How to get there:
There are train stations in nearby Hungerford, Pewsey and Swindon.
This area is also easily accessible from the M4/A346.
To navigate this route we recommend using OS Explorer Map Marlborough & Savernake Forest - Sheet 157.
